Site Supporter Spider Posted October 15, 2015 Site Supporter Posted October 15, 2015 Black pudding made from menstrual blood to feed the poor. Ladies and gents, I think we've plumbed a whole new depth. Impressive. Quote

Site Supporter Winchester White Posted October 15, 2015 Site Supporter Posted October 15, 2015 Celery is great! Love it raw and it is good for adding in soups. I also love radish, proper salad veg is that, nice and peppery. You can shove floppy lettuce and rocket up your arse though, horrible stuff. Anyway, when we were kids my brothers and I knew mum was skint when we had tater hash for two days on the trot or egg and chips or whatever. Her and a friend used to help each other out in hard times, buying each other a big bag of spuds and a tray of eggs to see them through till pay day. Happy days. Quote
Big City Girl Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I love celery raw (with dips), but detest it in anything else Quote

dave2980 Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 You burn more calories eating celery than there is in celery That's proven to be bollocks. Anyway, I can't stand the stuff raw but it's a completely different animal when it's cooked in stews etc. Quote

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 16, 2015 Site Supporter Posted October 16, 2015 Grew a load of this stuff this year. It was less juicy than normal, but mega intense. The smell wafts in as soon as you open the back door Quote
