Pint in 3 crowns, pint int castle - Cheap as fook

Sat having a quiet drink outside Northern Monkey and could smell smoke. Suddenly large plumes of black smoke coming out of a building on Silverwell street. 5 fire engines on the scene now. Looks like it’s under control.

my mum spotted these out on Lee Lane earlier and sent over with the message:

"This is relates to, which I can only describe as a questionable mini-mart in Lee Lane, Horwich - near the pelican crossing and opposite Greenhalgh’s.

Wish I knew exactly what has been going on."

My mum also followed up with

From the outside you couldn’t see what was for sale as the window was covered in posters mimicking a shop interior. It was always a mystery how it could be a success being so near to Sainsbury’s which is open to 10pm.

It was rumoured it was managed by an Albanian who was also rumoured to manage a take away next door, which also recently closed. He also ‘owns’ a cafe across the road, a few doors away from Greenhalgh’s.

The Albanian was also involved in Casa di Tapas, which used to be another tapas restaurant (I can’t remember the name) across the road from the Public Hall, which is also ’temporary closed’

I do hope she also sent that message to the police

Were they doing haircuts and why did Cheese not get there first to report?

It's only a stones throw from Chorley.

Standards are slipping.

What's it all about? Maybe my readers are fucked but the pics are a bit blurry

They've had multiple visits from trading standards, unannounced. Each time they've found illegal vapes,  cigs,  tobacco etc,

Council is trying to close businesses that repeatedly offend as its more effective than fines.

One if the local councillors explained it on Facebook.

I am sickened. In these times where diversity and inclusion are sacrosanct, no consideration has been given whatsoever to cultural sensitivities or proclivities.

If he was called Smith or Jones he would still be allowed to operate.

Didn't there used to be a Manc to Bolton night service? It the late 70s i can remember getting buses back from shows at the apollo.

It used to start on the side of Piccadilly near to Piccadilly radio and there was an all night burger shop there as well ( before MacDonalds days).

We would have been under 16 at the time but i think you had to pay full price on it.
