Yes, the same bloke hated for not wearing a poppy by men who think politics should have no place in sport.

Your sarcasm has absolutely zero chance of changing any opinion of mine matey.

Not sure if you or the ginger coprophile were about when the M62 and Manchester bombings were current? Might have given you a different perspective if you weren't aware of these things at that time.

James McLean should show his true conviction by not making his living in the country he so despises. Go and play for Shamrock Rovers or Home Farm you hypocritical cunt. Wonder if he handles currency with either the Queen or the Kings face on it?

You're sounding a bit political there pal. No politics in football, remember?

I'm not in football, pal.

So fans can politicise football but players can't? Just so we know the rules.

Proves the point though.

No politics in football unless they’re ones you agree with.

No gays, no blacks, just political wars.

Let me know when it is I who can set the rules will you? Cheers.

Am I reading this right - you actually want all this political bullshit detracting from the football do you?

Yet you actively seek out politics in football when it’s a subject you’re interested in. Picking at random, Northern Ireland.

For what it’s worth, I couldn’t give a shit. But don’t pick and choose.

Football and Politics will always be linked, no matter if we like it or not. We only need to look at those two sets of wankers (who are both as odious as each other) north of the border to know that

Right, it's quite simple and despite your views and beliefs, you're clearly an intelligent chap. You make it quite clear that football shouldn't be politicised but then moan that a player doesn't wear a poppy and bring up a bombing that happened over 25 years ago.

... and with regards to "political bullshit" detracting from the football, well, for the vast majority it hasn't detracted from the football one little bit. Making a stand/comments about a country that puts gays in prison AND enjoying the football is possible. The only people for whom the "political bullshit" is detracting from the football is those of a certain vintage with views that belong in a bygone era.

I just can't imagine being so small/narrow minded where something such as players taking the knee would ruin my day.

😂😂😂😂

Differing opinions. Just for the record though, you need to refer to the gifted one on the first highlighted bit as he will disagree and the second highlighted bit does not ruin my day - you can be sure of this. Maybe your imagination is limited.

There are a few things that do (moderately) irk me with the latter. High on the list is the association with an extremist movement in the US which condones, amongst other crazy measures, having no police force. Another is the grandstanding 'look at me, how virtuous I am' aspect which, unless I have missed it, no other team at the world cup is also doing.

Seemingly we have moved from the worlds trendsetters to the worlds whiners. Constantly outraged about something or other.

As far as that IRA supporting cunt you seem to be defending, yep, I'll moan alright. That ingrate is the ultimate fucking hypocrite.

Don't get me going about the Uruguay coach pairing white trainers with a dark suit either. World's gone fucking mad.

Let's be honest when people say ' no politics in.....' they mean 'no politics I disagree with'

Marcus Rashford was slagged off for trying to provide food to hungry children FFS.

I do not like Southgate but that is because he plays Sterling ahead of Phil Foden

Brazil are at it at the moment

Neymar publicly backed Bolsonaro in the elections (which surpised me as I thought he was a bummer, but apparently he did it in return for some tax breaks)

anyway

the Brazilan left were jubliant when Neymar got injured in their first game, cheering and all that as he got stretchered off

which is no different than Bolty wanting us to lose and get knocked out because of an armband

it's mental

Isn't is Bolty that hates the 'stone-aged' religon of Islam but only wants the bumdars to do what they do behind closed doors?

Confused isn't the word. Befuddled maybe.
