Just in. Fucking garbage. Will post a bit of a write up in the morning if I can be arsed.

You clearly didn't pay enough attention.

Lennon says we were the better team and just unlucky.

Is there fuck, Birmingham never got out of first gear, won that at an absolute canter

As long as it's mathematically possible, I will remain hopeful. Still more than enough games left. Don't see the point in feeling nothing but doom and gloom.

Why is something good on at the pictures on Sat?:)

Just back & that was hopeless.  No lack of effort from the players but we never looked anywhere near equalising against a very ordinary Brum team.....IMO mainly down to pisspoor management.

Clough was wasted as an isolated lone striker without a team mate in the same postcode ( he must be lazy like Madine )

Mavies was wasted stuck out on the left wing.

Feeney was typical Feeney,..worked his nuts off, put in a superb cross & then his next cross nearly hit me, but still our biggest threat......so Lennon switched him to the left wing where he was wasted.

We all know it's not easy, but Lennon does not seem to be getting the best out of the players he's got, or being capable of making changes that help during the game when it's all going tits up.

I've given up now...........until next Saturday.

& there was no butter on my free hot dog. Booooo

It's a car crash

Will someone else get anything more out of them? I very much doubt anyone can get enough out to keep us up but that's not a reason to keep someone

Let's hope anyone coming in can bring a striker in with them on loan as well to at least give us a bit of a kick to the end of the season

When does the loan window shut? Are we in danger of missing it?

March 24th

Alf anyone?[/quote

I just googled 4 March

Malcolm needed to clarify

Are we down so it doesn't make difference?

No, but not far off.

Truly awful performance.

Birmingham did very little but we never looked like scoring.

I can not think of one player who had a good game, no one was totally shit but going forward we just had no threat, Feeney put one great cross in, but you are getting desperate in you think Clough is going to win headers.

Mavies, played wide again, but Welly on the bench ? We need a goal and the only striker we have available never gets off the bench.

Vela is not good enough, a Birmingham fan walking off summed it when he said 'we were shut tonight, but more than good enough'.

Only positive was the free pie and pint, in the home end there was chaos, the club had put something on Internet for ticket holders to print off to claim free offer, but on the night had taken the desicion not to accept them unless you had the original voucher, funny listening to them kick off with that awful whining accent.

I don't think we were unlucky as we didn't threaten enough, but we did play some good football. We are and have been crying out for a strong centre forward and if we had one we would be getting much better results. Heskey when he came on at Wolves made a massive difference but obviously can only do it in short bursts and Madine should never play for our club again. So can we get a centre forward on loan, someone who Clough and Wollery can play off.

Lennon was very poor he risked getting Clough injured as he was getting buffeted by Birmingham without any protection from the referee and should have made changes earlier.

On my train home some blues fans were saying they were outplayed in the second half as we did at Wolves as well, teams that are supposed to be better than us.

The most disappointing thing for me was how soft their goal was, although I would say that overall Holding played better as the game went on.

Must have had 70% possession in second half. Toothless.

Danns - the master of the (non) first touch and is brought on as first sub when we're a goal down.

Can all you Feeny fans tell me again about his workrate! For Feeny, see, runs about a lot, no end product, but apparently he's an outlet.

If anyone knows the new irritating cockney whites who bought a Charlton mate. Tell him not to come again, I'm surprised someone angrier than me didn't slap him.

The bloke on travel club telling people 'support the club you peasents' in his tracksuit and care free attitude to washing (it seemed) made my night. I was laughing all the way home

Crying out all night to get an actual winger on the left hand side instead of Davies pricking about. So he brings on Silva...and sticks him on the right, puts Feeney up top and moves Clough to the left hand side!

Spent most of the night trying to get Clough to win headers, then finally stick Holding up front in stoppage time for a bit of height and start knocking the ball around on the deck!

Absolutely clueless from Lennon, but the players surely have to take some responsibility. Been having nightmares about Pratley's 'touch finder' in the first half.

Last night was the first time that I've heard Lennon get serious shit on his way down the tunnel, but then folk were keen to applaud a side that, bar Clough and Holding, were beyond useless. Could still be playing now and I doubt we'd have a shot on target, never mind score a goal.

Also forgot the Dervite substitution. Derik from right back to centre half, Vela from midfield to right back and Danns in to midfield...when Wilson is sat on the bench. He slots straight in at right back with Derik at centre half and then we aren't having to piss about with the mess of a midfield that we ended up with.

.

About summed up the night when in the last few minutes Holding went up front and Rachubuka still insisted on booting it long towards Feeney or Clough. Just thick as fuck.

Thought Spearing came out with a bit of credit, but that's about it. Centre halves were ok for most of the game.

We got into our final third and we didn't have a fucking scooby what to do. Absolutely no end product.

Was it me or did Danns end up at right back at the end of the game?
