Site Supporter RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted September 10, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted September 10, 2016 It was a game we were going to win at a canter....& then we scored! It became more & more of a shambles the longer the game went on unfortunately. Any midfield with 2 amblers like Vela & Trotter is likely to be overrun. Anybody who thinks young Josh is going to become a decent footballer is going to be disappointed.
RoadRunnerFan
Need more cutting edge. Cant complain too much as the main problem was fixing the soft underbelly, which we appear to have done. ZC to come back and new players should only get better. Sooner or later our luck with the refs will change. Onwards and upwards. COYWM.
ianofcleveleys
As plenty have said, point as much as we deserved today. Too many off the pace today, complacent after bagging early goal. Spearing head and shoulders best player on the pitch again. Not Anderson's day, didn't happen for him, Henry hasn't shown enough in either game, Trotter anonymous again, offers little going forward and little help to those behind him. Proctor led line well first half, got some poor treatment from one-year ref 2nd half. Ameobi nearly twinkle toed through a couple of times late on but overall an off day against a team who were better than our lot assumed
frank_spencer
No options off the bench besides Sameobi. With Clough, Clayton and Madine injured. So when we were running out of steam we can didn't have anyway to change the game. Still unbeaten. Win at Walsall and onwards
RoadRunnerFan
Disappointed with Anderson not slipping Henry in on that breakaway first half. Suppose that decision making will come with experience which is what he is here to get though.
Happy Wanderer
Yet again another team playing 10 men behind the ball, we need to learn to patient but also how to break a stuborn defence down. This will happen for most of the home games so expect plenty of boring games.
mickbrown
How shit was the ref? Absolutely gash
tshape
210 Mk Fans today. Thats terrible support for a Saturday game I would've guessed at about 118 tops so that's a surprise. Looked like Everton brought more for that brilliant cup game. Either way it was a pathetic turnout.
Blondi
We were poor today, especially in the 2nd half. Great save by Howard for their penalty. I still feel we haven't really clicked into gear yet, the final 3rd is still a concern for me, but at least we're still unbeaten and our players are working their bollocks off for the full 90. Looking forward to going to Walsall now, I reckon we'll get a win. Edited September 10, 2016 by Blondi

ianofcleveleys
I counted about 180 in a quiet spell first half, a few must have been in the bog or bar
DomRepWanderer
Just a bad day at the office, nothing to worry about in this league.
tylswhite
Didn't feel like we did enough to win the game so can't really be too pissed off. First 25 mins were very good then we lost our way and didn't look like breaking them down. A few good positions fucked up with wrong decisions. DIPS
I'd be more concerned if we'd have lost. Still top and undefeated. Onwards and upwards. Edited September 10, 2016 by DIPS
captainmed
We looked so weary from the start. We looked a different team to last week but the result was the same and we're still top. Anyone would have taken that after 7 games. Walsall here we come.

EyesRight
4 points dropped in the last two home games. Plus a late equaliser at Charlton before that. We could and should be 8 points clear at the top. As it stands we are top by two points and still unbeaten despite not hitting top form with players still gelling... roll on Walsall and let's save the hammering for Bratfud. We can only improve IMO. We do need more creativity, but there's nothing down the left so we're very narrow making it harder to open teams up. Very little service for the strikers. Taylor solid at left back but not great at getting forward.
