gonzo Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Just had to check to see if we had a game. Only realised these were in our division last week. Can't wait 0-0 Quote

radcliffe white Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 God help parky if we lose this one!. 2-0 to whites, and Oxford meant to be bringing 1200 Quote
tomski Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Will lose this. See if this can buck the trend Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 £ 15 a ticket for this game for adults, maybe drag a few more in. Think that boat has sailed. Can't blame the club for trying but we had fewer home fans against Bradford than previously. Atmosphere was poor. Saturday will be poorer attendance and can't say I'm expecting anything other than dross. Quote
stevieb Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Two games i've seen this week and not supped a pint. Normal service resumed on Saturday. #goalfest Quote

Alf Hartigan Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 We'd struggle to beat Oxford University never mind Oxford United. But, 2-0 Bolton (Lenny Henry, RodneyTrotter) 13,632 Quote
DazBob Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 0-1 Joey Beauchamp with a screamer for them. Quote

paulhanley Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I live in Oxford. They're an upwardly mobile club after years in the doldrums including a spell in the Conference. Still finding their way at tier 3 level but by no means overwhelmed and had a big win a couple of weeks ago against their biggest local rival, Swindon Town. They haven't won away since their promotion! Suspect they'll bring a decent following. Their away support is generally quite good and like a lot of clubs this year there's a novelty value given they've not played Bolton for years and not since Burnden days. Quote
Spider Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Oh good, another team viewing us as a scalp. Quote
snowball Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Oxford at home. Following an away defeat to Rochdale. Thatchers Britain. With a stuffing against Bury on the horizon as well. I love the Eighties? Quote
