Netflix would have got 16 episodes out of it but the BBC have the length and content perfect. It veered briefly into Shawshank with the illiterate bloke though. Whatever you think of him, he’s made a properly decent series here. He knows he’s a cunt, and he makes a point of highlighting that his neighbours fucking hate him.
