Jodorowsky's Dune documentary is worth watching to show how bonkers it can be. The first book reads like an encylopedia at times rather than a sci-fi/fantasy novel.

April 17, 20224 yr I had the same problem with Interstellar I loved the Martian, the book and the film. Everyone said interstellar is better than the Martian, miles better. I watched it and thought fuckin hell have I seen the same film. Then everyone says it looks amazing. Incredibly overrated and not a patch on The Martian
