Binged them all since last night. The last episode was prime Brassic, really. Loved the Italian Job tribute.

Must just be me. Enjoyed the early couple of series but just seems to have gone more and more madcap?

Same

Thought early series were v good but after that the characters were trying to be the same without actually being funny anymore

The Rings of Power is finally coming good - the last episode was great

I've not started this series yet, or house of dragons for that matter

But that was my take on the first series, not great to begin with but last couple of episodes were really good and set it up nicely once you realised who sauron was

Yeah I've not watched the second series of House of Dragons yet - quite enjoyed that.

Basically, there was no Men or Hobbits or Pretend Gandlaf in this one - just Adar, the Elves and Sauron having a big ole battle.

never heard of it, ae the first 2 series worth a watch as well :)

The whole thing obvs. Its been a proper sleeper hit but this series looks like it might push it over to more people. If people like Succession then it'll your cup of tea. All series on the iPlayer.

I gave up on Rings of Power and H.O.D - Both too slow to get going. May have to try again

The Penguin has been fantastic so far. EP.3 out today (?)

Slow Horses is mega. I absolutely love it and Presumed Innocent on AppleTV is intriguing

RoP's last episode was a let down - so one good episode in 8 wasn't good, but hopefully the next series will be better - it looks like they were tying up the slightly 'crap' sub-plot storylines. I mean I'm not even being super geeky on the lore (things like the rings being made in a completely different order, a hugely changed timeline, Gandalf showing up) as you have to change things for a TV show - you can't really have - and 1,500 years later...still making the rings. But if you haven't read things like the Silmarillion, the Unfinished Tales, Children of Hurin etc then you can miss out on some decent parts that tie it together. Its the storytelling is just off - characters suddenly do things totally out of character, too many sub-plots so you don't have time to invest in them, dreadful dialogue and worst of all at points its really boring. Its super easy to mock if you're not into high fantasy.

Still holding out it'll come good though as I really would like it to work.

New series of Alma's not Normal starts on the 7th October

Sadly, I found last night's episode about as funny as cramp. Hopefully the series will pick up a bit

Ah - I think if you didn't like that, then its probably not for you. I love it, sweet, hopeful, funny in the small bits of the interactions - the bit with the ghost house was brilliant.  Hopefully she'll get another Bafta, and importantly - she's just fucking ace as a person

I usually find it funny, last nights I didn't though. Yes, the ghost house bit I thought was quite amusing.

I thought ROP was really setting itself up for an epic conclusion, but it just sort of petered out getting ready for another season. Which is always a risk with a series I suppose.

Enjoying Show Trial at the moment, watched 3 of I think 5.

Fair enough - I think this series is going to be a bit bittersweet. It's the last one she's doing other than a Xmas special.
