One for the older amongst us

The Sweeney on ITVX

Superb TV. 70s hammy acting but hasn’t aged too badly

Some right old faces on there

And the cars…….Granadas, Cortinas, Jags. Proper dream tackle for a teenager at the time :D

I always watch minder when it's on ITV2/4, great viewing

Funnily enough we did the same the other week having missed it first time round. One to concentrate on rather than have on in the background.

Brilliant was Broadchurch, one of those that will go down in time as a seminal TV series. Olivia Colman and David Tennant were already well enough known but it did wonders for Jodie Whittaker

Started on Gone, on ITV, watched 4 of the 6 eps, pretty good, David Morrissey and Eve Myles good in it, just an implausible twist or two in the 4th ep, will see it through to ep 6 though

Just watched Clarice on Prime.

Clarice Starling from Silence of The Lambs and what happened that story.

Only 1 series, 12 episodes.

8 out of 10. Much better than expected.

Louis Theroux's new documentary on the Manosphere

I don't know what the answer is but it isn't his usual technique and it isn't Adolescence

Getting a proper grip of these social media companies would be a start.

Dirty Business on 4OD as well.

That first episode is heartbreaking

The acting by the bloke who plays the father is outstanding.

Very well put together programme.

Hadn't heard of Patience. Started S1 last night. Not bad.

Do you have a telly in your room, or do they wheel you into a communal area where you all throw your Complan and porridge at the screen if a darkie comes on?

I think he meant Minder (which was shit after Waterman left) not The Sweeney.

Agree about the Ray Winston film remake of The Sweeney, absolutely fucking terrible.
