mannyroad58 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 With her having those young kids the presents shouldn't be under the tree in the first place because as we all know santa delivers them on Christmas eve So for that reason I don't believe a word of it Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I had a look at that Facebook page, I bet a pound to the penny the ghastly lot doing the sneering are without class themselves, I'll bet the blokes wear those disgusting electric blue suits with brown shoes, I'll bet the slatterns have tellies in their boudoirs... Youri McAnespie Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I'd get Columbo's ghost on the case, he could wrap various weighted boxes in Christmas paper then get the dibble to return them as recovered from a burglar's lair, if they claim them back they're bang to rights... Quote

Winchester White Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 On the christmas theme Friend of mine at a primary school tells me the kids were asked to brinng a bottle in for the tombola at the christmas fair. One brought a bottle of bleach. They do that at the school my youngest attends for a wine wheel at the Christmas fair. The missus won on it last week and the bag contained a bottle of red, rose and white. Fair enough, only the bottle of white contains something that is no longer wine, it is the colour of piss. Some skank actually got their kid to take that in, it would have been better to just not bother. Quote

Some skank actually got their kid to take that in, it would have been better to just not bother. Lad's primary school used to ask for donations for the tombola. There'd be bottles of wine, all sorts donated. When I thought about it the money made on selling tickets was far less than the value of the goods. They would have made more if all donors had given a quid or two and those donating bottles would have been less out of pocket too! Less fun I suppose though. Quote

madthatter Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Is it just me or does that lad have a very slapable face? His mother possibly a very slappable arse? n.b. I *seldomly slap young boys . . . and you know who you are, you cheeky little monkeys As an aside, an interesting English word fact: *As already pointed out, the word "seldom" is mainly an adverb, even though it can be used as an adjective in some cases. And although "seldom" may be seldom in every day language, "seldomly" occurs even more seldom. This stands in contrast to the word "often", which in relation to "seldom" is used very often** **I checked as I wasn't sure if seldom or seldomly was the correct usage! Quote
