Down the line if a team comes in for one of our players we’ll be in a position to ask for the reddies, IE has brought in some cracking players on frees, I’m excited to see what he can do with a transfer fee budget behind him

I honestly don't remember us signing Paddy Kenny

He sort of didn't.

Never got off the bench during a 6m contract to cover for an injured Bogdan.

Wasn't he fckg crackers, with a tendancy to fight people everywhere he went ?

"Kenny signed for Bolton on a short-term deal on 19 September 2014 to provide competition for Andy Lonergan after Adam Bogdan was ruled out with injury. After just two months at the Macron operating solely as an unused substitute, Kenny was loaned out to Oldham after manager LeeJohnston lost faith in Paul Rachubka. He played three L1 games for Oldham. On 19 January 2015, Bolton confirmed that Kenny had left the club at the expiration of his contract". Wiki.

Read this in the Manchester Evening News today. A 'where are they now' run down of Dougie Freedman signings. By Christ it makes depressing reading!

Wasn’t his Mrs shagging behind his back?

Have a vague memory of playing them at Bramall lane and chanting something about his Mrs, which he turned around and clapped us and laughed

1-1 in the cup I think K.Davies scored

If he would of been able to sign Craig Dawson permanently and made him  club captain it might of ended just fine. We should of moved heaven and earth to sign him, still fucks me off to this day.

He was fantastic with us. Gutted we couldn't get him permanently!

It didn't end well, though it did get a lot worse

Coyle did even more damage than I thought

Im not sure where I heard it but it did make me giggle when I heard “Owen Coyle has done more damage to the north than Maggie Thatcher”

Some of them I don't remember whatsoever. A period largely erased from memory.

One thing typically in common- most had a non event of a career since. Says a lot. Thanks Dougie.

Was in Budapest last week so went to watch  Ferencvaros 1 v 3 Real Betis in UEFA Cup, tidy stadium and atmosphere, was a good game and no booing of any of their own black players of which there were several?

Anyhow that twat Bogdan was their sub keeper, that's all.

Oh other than it cost £70+!! for a ticket and I had to join the supporters club first and have more biometrics taken than James Bond. I think they have a problem!

for all Coyle's mistakes and fuck ups, Freedman had more than enough time and resources to make plenty of his own, as demonstrated by that list, the Blackpool team selection, and our two worst starts in 100+ years
