If the best his agent can do is mid-table non-league, below Altrincham, I think he may need a new agent. Hope they enjoy their 10% of £500 a week.

No League team would be allowed to sign him until Jan. Doubt he had much choice.

Comley can be added if we wish.

43.9.6  Changes to a Squad List may be made:

(a)  during the period of a Transfer Window; and

(b)  at other times only with the permission of The League.

Guidance

Changes outside of a Transfer Window

The League will only consider granting permission to make changes to the Squad List outside of a Transfer Window where:

  •   the Club’s current Squad List contains less than the maximum number of Players permitted to be included on the Squad List and the Club wishes to add an Out of Registration Player or another Player registered with the Club but not currently included on the Squad List, or

  •   in other truly exceptional circumstances.

He and Rooney share an agent so no surprise he went there.

I would save surprised however if he’s dropped money; Stockport have loads of it now.

They also may be mid table but they have some players for that level; I think it’s the Manager they’re not sure about. They’ll be there or thereabouts come the end of the season

If I was a county fan I would be bloody delighted.

Bit of a worry this, not come at an ideal time. Yes he hasn't been great this season, but he's not the only one.

Hopefully those worries put to bed when we beat Gillingham tomorrow.

It’s massive for them it’s like us singing a PL mid table  captain

There were rumours at Plymouth that there had been a fall out earlier in the day.

I am all for strong leadership, but this is a strange one.

He was clearly at his maximum level but he was our captain and scoring an odd goal too.

It would appear all is not well.

To go non-league is absolutely bizarre.

I do agree he's average overall, but from a goalscoring point of view those 3 don't replace Sarcevic (add Thomason to that, who may get more chances now).  As bad as we played last 2 games Sarcevic came closest to scoring in both, even just coming on as sub, the others don't have the same scoring potential.  It brings our lack of goalscorers into sharper focus.

Yeh I agree with that mate but the by product of him playing so advanced is that we’re wide open. Lee has the ability to get in those positions (granted he’s missed some sitters) but I think he’d give us more of a defensive balance

2nd worst defensive record in the league don’t forget..

Think it’s a case of Sarce standing up to IE after he’s dug the players out and it’s just snowballed

if Sarce has backed the players as captain you can’t knock him but there’s a line. Hope it’s not been a case of IE being too stubborn when someone’s stood up to him

after those performances this week harsh words were needed across the board..

however, if the player is THAT important to you after overstepping then mark you reign him in and keep him. Appears he’s obviously not

Only just heard about this so had to go back through the posts to get up to speed

This guy who as posted on twitter about evett and gambling and a Court case sounds bizarre but I was told by a mate who worked at Blackpool fc  when evatt was at Blackpool he was barred from all the casinos there .
it all sounds murky

Think IE has been a bit naive at times with his comments, publicly declaring we’re the best in the league is a mad thing to say, but IE wears his heart on his sleeve and he’s still young and inexperienced. He’s honest enough to admit when he’s wrong and I doubt he’ll say that again.

If there’s been a bad Apple in the bunch this hasn’t happened over the last week. This has gone on for a bit and it may have been a reason for results on the pitch.

Im glad it’s been addressed and sorted.

We can only hope that it has, and that its not just the first public sign of an internal civil war.

That bloke on twitter is a grade A crank.

Evatt being banned from Blackpool’s casinos was probably to do with them worrying about him being bummed as that’s what they do in Blackpool

With Doyle being kept as VC I think that it is

Sometimes it needs to happen, the gaffer says what goes, no one is bigger than the club. Seen it with Pep, Jose, Fergie, you have to trust the gaffer
