The fact we are fishing in the same pool as Championship clubs is a good sign. I'm glad to read that there are three Championship clubs interested. One of them is bound to be Wigan given that their whole transfer strategy will (as usual) be geared around trying to peevishly get one over on Bolton. We get some good loans and put a player in the shop window, high probability we aren’t going to win them all. As I mentioned previously it’s risk and reward. No concerns over injury and we’d of probably stretched the budget for him. While I’m a bit gutted it looks like Fossey isn’t coming back, the reasons are valid. Shared a couple of points as they were relevant to the ‘transfer gossip’ thread not too surprising he was so open as I think we can agree he isn’t someone you would describe as a closed book making up sitting with him on a flight ain’t the type of shite I’d serve up for no reason to gain kudos off some lads I know on here and criticism from a few nuggets I don’t. I also think we need a specialist wing-back on the right hand side as well. If it were up to me, I'd be looking to sign two this summer.
