No where.

Not sure he's getting enough time for someone to offer very much.

If he was playing regularly and scoring/assisting then maybe.

Unless of course he says he wants to go, which would charge things.

that's what i heard

I can’t see him want to sit on the bench watching us offer nothing going forward each week.

plenty will take a chance on him for me.

I agree- but taking a chance means a small offer.

That's my point, we're not getting several decent offers while he's doing little. We'd have to hope for a bidding war and I can't see it.

I'm sure he's played more than 3.

He's made 14 appearances (9 starts) and had 2 shots on target. 0 goals.

About a dozen, I think.

Thanks for clarifying.  I just looked at Wiki but obviously not updated recently.  I've rated him in the past but it sounds like that ship has sailed.

Evatt being a bit circumspect about the January window if Lies has quoted him correctly. Says that yes, he is in for a striker but also the go-to media trained phrase about "looking to improve in every position". I suppose it's best to be vague for now, at least until he is sure he can move players on as he might have to depend on them if he can't, but I'm not convinced he has the answers or that the right players are available within our budget - whatever that budget is.

The way I see it is that much of the problem with scoring goals is in the playing style with Charles and Kacha effectively playing as midfielders spending most of their time chasing around well away from the opposition's box - except when Evatt abandons all pretence of having a defence when we're chasing late goals after conceding first yet again. Somehow we've got to get the ball to stick up top and the only striker we have who can do that consistently is JDB and he's proving injury prone. Evatt won't change the playing style so I don't know who he hopes to sign, but if it's a striker who is expected to come deep to challenge for the ball AND score goals aplenty, they're probably out of our price range.

January should be interesting.

Hope it was Wigan who wanted him. Well, they’ve wanted just about everything else associated with Wanderers.
