FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Who reported this?

FLW article (so Barry Bullshit then)

Says Brizzle also after him and they have money ATM

Also suggests Dion (27) would be on his way.

Hopefully all bollocks as we have more strikers than Scargill and Swan Vestas put together and if we're spending we should be looking at the midfield.

What strikers have we actually got? After the last two games we should be looking at Centre Backs and wing backs although Forrester looked good second half

Peterboro want a million for him we don’t have that kind of money.

If it’s true then someone must have made a move for DC, IE did suggest a few weeks ago that we had contingency plans if players left. At least we would have the cash from dion to replace him.

If we are serious about promotion put the money down for JCH and tell Stoke to f-off.

100%, could be in league one for another 5 years if we are going down the sustainability route, which is not a problem after where we have been. But us fans would have to be really patient

It concerns me slightly that we might have to sell to buy - at the beginning of the window it was implied we had decent money to spend so I imagined we hadn't spent all of it yet.

We probably have got some funds left, but after the start we had and the impressive way we were playing IE maybe thought barring a couple more incomings he was happy with his squad, if January comes and we are struggling with form or injury then we can look to improve the team.

Well we’re in the home stretch for the window now so you can bet there are going to be all kinds of rumours. It wouldn’t surprise me if Dion left and to be fair I’d take Clark Harris as a replacement if he did go but that still leaves our soft centre unresolved so hopefully there’d be a bit left over for that from the Dion cash?

I notice 'hutch' has moved on

Yet some reckon he should be in our first team squad

Tbf, theyve never actually seen him play

He's only gone on a month's loan

But a fourth loan to the NPL, 21 years old next week

It's not looking promising

Problem is we might have 5 strikers but only one plays regularly and scores . So we can’t loose Charles .
Spent 800k on vic and Dan which is looking a waste . Bod is never fit and Jerome is only going to be a stop gap . We still need a decent striker with Charles to get promoted

Daft one, and I've seen it mentioned a few times on here (a c.£300k purchase).

Did we actually spend a fee on Nlundulu? I honestly thought his contract was up at Southampton and we got him on a free...?

Even for free we was robbed.

We definitely paid a few for Nlundulu, he still had another 12 months left on his contract at Southampton. As for Dion Charles, if we do sell him, pretty sure Accrington are due 20% of any fee.

Yes, we paid a six figure fee (thought to be £300,000)

Is Connor Carty worth a shout when he’s back from Ireland where he seems to be doing a fair job of finding the net? Sometimes when these young lads get with better players it really brings them on and it doesn’t look like Jerome and Dan even know where the net is.

Big Vic has scored 4 times this season, currently one more than Charles. I do not want Charles to leave but Vic has improved significantly this year. Agree big Dan and Jerome look weak and JDB can not be relied on.

Charles and BV has 7 in 5 games between them it is a good start.

I have £10 on Charles to be top scorer in the division so we really can not sell him.

Do you lose that money then, or does the bet become void and you get your stake back?

I've absolutely no idea.

Only way JCH comes in is as a replacement for Charles. We ain’t having both with the other 4 as back up

rumours about Charles and Stoke won’t go away but if it does happen I’d actually see JCH as a bit of an upgrade.

bigger, quicker, stronger and more prolific. Don’t know what’s not to like about the opportunity

Waste of money !

Charles is actually staying and signing a new contract

Great news if true.

Lose it. Given season has started and bookies make the rules.

Suppose just like a horse falling in a race.
