The good Bolton folk obsessed with anything Man Utd won’t like this

Absolutely. Why I said it would be controversial!

I hadn't realised he'd left Forest and clearly his career has gone down quickly.

Must be a reason no higher league clubs have come in for him.

If there are questions over his commitment etc, then maybe a lower division club is the best he can hope for.

He was on fire at West Ham, there’s a decent player there but yes perhaps something not right

Something very controversial, so I'll leave it here for your thoughts.

Jesse Lingaard still without a club. 31.

Looking for somewhere to play.

Could Evatt get a reasonable tune out of him?

Give over. 🤦‍♂️

Strange fall from grace.

Wasn't it in Russia, where he did well for England in the world cup?

Indeed.

Another who lost it. Success going to their heads?

I imagine as a young footballer you have loads of hangers on bad influencers in your life wanting a piece of the pie

Indeed. Was in the article.

Still reckon someone in the Premier league would have taken a chance if there were no concerns over his approach/attitude.

The article doesn't even mention an approach let alone an offer from a club.

Guess we'll see.

What about the original question: do you reckon Evatt could get him playing and would you have him?

Hes absolutely no chance of getting him.

Id have him in a heartbeat.

Even at 50% hes better than any player in league 1.

Hes lost his way past year or two for reasons nobody seems to know but hed have to be in a straight jacket with two broken legs for us to have any chance of signing him.

Lingard was in my mates lads (BWFC ST holders) kids team at Man U think he’s still in touch with him I’ll ask him to pop the question.
