Try reading posts instead of making things up then you can apologise with a public statement.

You did literally claim they'd made a statement with quality signings, though

I’m sure you’re making it up, confusing me with someone else, or just read posts properly. 🤷‍♂️

Aye.

Don't know anything about Rotherham's signings but they have got a manager who does ok at this level.

If the stuff about Birmingham is true, they should walk it.

Because if they spend that and don't they'll probably go bust.

Hard to know what to make of us until we know all the comings and goings.

Question Marc, would you want any of their signings here?

I've not actually seen anyone they or anyone else has signed to be honest, I'm happily taking a break from caring. Allowing the experts to discuss it all instead.

Don’t see where all this confidence in Rotherham comes from. Not one of the players they’ve signed so far would I have in our team and I can see it all imploding personally. Brum I expect to be the biggest threat especially given their transfer budget but there will be big pressure on them from an expectation point of view and especially their rookie manager. Huddersfield haven’t signed anybody yet so let’s wait and see. If Evatt brings in the right additions we’ll be a tough prospect for anyone so I’m not remotely worried about who the opposition are until we know.

Presumably because they have a relatively proven manager who gets the most out of the players at his disposal, and a squad that's going to be better than most in L1.  Your comment on IEs signings suggest its all down to who we bring in, but a lot of fans, yourself included, have questioned IEs tactical flexibility and willingness to make in-game changes to suit the opposition.  We'd all like to see a couple of quality signings, but it was clear all season that isn't the biggest factor in deciding if we can win the tougher games.  Putting the boot on the other foot, the other challengers won't be remotely worried about us either if we continue in the same vein.

I know he's probably past his peak, but would you seriously not have Clarke-Harris instead of Dan and Vic?

Hands up I’m a Pratt I did say that so yes apologies to all. 🥴

Fair play mate!

For what it’s worth, I agree with one of your opinions 😂

I know peeps have seen Dion with his brace and a few other players around but seriously has anyone seen our manager or is he squirrelled away by a twisted spire somewhere?

Seriously I think it’s pretty off not to have seen or heard anything from him about plans for the new season and especially on our two new signings. Come on Ian let’s be having you. 🤷‍♂️

So is he definitely staying? Has this been announced?.

Everyone has made massive f*** ups at work at least once and you do try to keep your head down for a while however,, how long is too long? He knows all his credit is used up but you'd think he would be busting a gut to build some back up?. A rallying massage or statement would be a start but its only results that are going to matter.

FFS do you never give it a rest?

I think they’re back next week after holidays but I wouldn’t expect anything from anyone until then.

Chill out, enjoy the sunshine 🌞

We've signed a couple of players.

That won't have happened without IE's input, so I'm just assuming he's staying.

Until hearing otherwise, nowt much to say.

Had that dinner thing happened yet- he was/is supposedly talking about the future.

Maybe the powder is being kept dry until then.

Sharon wouldn't have given the interview she did if he wasn't

A massage with a happy ending this time would be nice.

So you think it’s perfectly acceptable for our MANAGER not to have said one word about anything since that debacle at Wembley, the hopes and thoughts for the new season, the signing of two new players or even a confirmation that he’s staying and encouraging fans for the season to come? Evatt’s credibility’s already in question after Wembley and the silence does nothing to quell fans concerns. You may not have any but others do.

We were joint second favourites a few weeks back

If I'd have known the odds might slip I'd have waited

odds have stayed the same on bet365 and WilliamHill, unsure on other websites

We need a club statement on Evatts whereabouts and his lunch plan for the next six weeks

I'm on board with players, managers & officials being entitled to a break. Big ups to Sharon saying she could barely function for a few days. I'm happy to give space ... & pleased we do most of our work quietly. We must trust that ins & outs are progressing.

That all said, the silence after that final & Evatt, known to be wondering about things, disappearing absolutely is concerning. It seems he's staying ... or he'd have gone ... but he & Sharon & the players weren't the only ones shell-shocked & the fans deserve some communication.
