And let's not forget CJ was never even meant to be a full sqaud member. He was there for a bit of coaching and help if required. Like Gilks was before he had to step in.

As luck would have it we ended up down to the bare bones so he stepped in. We had no fucking choice.

...and he did a job. He picked us some valuable points with a bit of game management along the way. 

He's obviously a decent bloke and will have more knowledge than half the sqaud put together.

Do people really think Evatt wanted to put CJ on to change games in pivotal matches or even worse start with him some?

Talking of which, I was thinking about the vacant squad place in the context of Evatt saying we have nobody to hold the ball up top and was wondering if part of his conversation with the board was to find a free agent who could do that one job - and who sprung to mind but 34 year old Mario Balotelli. Looking round the free agents available nothing obvious springs to mind and we need strong and with technique - like JDB - but there must be someone out there somewhere in the world and a deal to be done?
