Mario Balotelli insists that he’s training while waiting for the best project for him. ‘Many things have been made up.’

The Italian striker is without a club after the end of his contract with Adana Demirspor in June.

A former Inter, Milan, Liverpool and Manchester City striker, Balotelli has been linked with a move to Serie B side Palermo. Recent reports suggested that an Indian club, Kerala Blasters, refused to sign the 34-year-old for disciplinary reasons.

Balotelli hit back at recent speculation with an Instagram story, as quoted by Gazzetta.

“I’ve noticed that many things about me have been made up recently. The only thing I am doing is working hard, training, and being ready for wherever I’ll play,” the Italian striker wrote in an Instagram story.

“I’ll talk very soon to clarify everything. The important thing for me is to work and be serene. I’ve received several offers, and I am looking for the best project for me. Newspapers, clubs, and people can continue to say bu*******.”
