If he bags 5+ goals starting mainly on the bench, he will be a worthwhile signing. Been crying out for this type of striker for a while - if he still has reasonable pace

His goals to starts ratio is good. Take out all the subs last season and he is 1 in 3 at this level.

 

Clearly he’s 34, but anyone who says he’s not an upgrade in Wilbraham wants their bumps feeling.

Hopefully he's just seen as a replacement for Wilbraham, which effectively means someone to bring on in the last few minutes of games. If that's the case then I'm happy enough with it.

 

If he's seen as our main striking option for next season it isn't very encouraging.

 

Until we know for sure though I don't see any need for any moaning. Not that it'll be stopping plenty.
