If possible I'd prefer them as early as possible. Get them integrated, fit and ready to go as soon as the season starts.

1 Backup keeper

2 Fullbacks

2 strikers

Putting the clauses in doesn't seem to be a problem. They can have what they want. So long as they don't actually want paying that is....

You can be fairly sure that new deals won't have bonuses structured for June/July.
