Let’s hope Parkinson gets his man (Wyke) I’m not confident though seems he’s been offered a number of loan strikers which he has turned down. Reading between the lines think that Parky is challenging KA to show some ambition. I expect a failure to secure Parkinson’s main target will hasten Parkinson’s departure from the club. Time for KA to put up and superagent to shut up.

Really can’t see us staying up this time, unless Parky is given some funds to strengthen the squad.

I think Mounts is right. Parky might walk if we do not show some ambition and pay for a new striker. The fans will not be blaming Anderson when the long ball to Donaldson is our only outlet.

Can't see Parky walking easily, but he must be wondering if it is all worth it. Like last season he takes the blame for a situation that is entirely not his fault. Ken has to sort this and get moving. Time has moved on to the point we can't wait another week. If this week doesn't show significant activity then there is big trouble all round.

I think the crux of Parky staying and putting up with this shite and the hassle for the two seasons previous is that beneath all of it the job he finds himself in COULD be a very plumb one. If KA and next owner/chairman/investor gets it right he could find himself at a club on an upward trajectory.

 

I also think he'd struggle to get a gig elsewhere at a club of a similar size and potential (recent financial issues aside). I don't think the "brand" of football he is associated with helps his cause in terms of other jobs.

reminds me of BSA a little, he stated for years that if he had better / different type of players he would play more attractive football but he never did.

 

Parky argued the reason why we played the way we did was due to the type of players we had. It appeared with the players we released he wanted to rid us of that style. However through what appears to be no fault of his own he will be shopping in the cast off aisle again so will probably have to revert back to type
