He won’t be sentimental. But equally he knows Parky is solid and won’t rock the boat. Imagine other managerial characters in the midst of a player owner pay row might have had a few things to say.....

If we have a poor start and Parkinson allows beevers to boot it into the stands or 5 yards over le fondres head time and time again, he will be gone.

Can say that when i played centre half back in the day I have to agree with this. I hated playing against a small striker, they have such a low centre of gravity they can make the quickest of centre halves look like the titanic turns quicker. However they need to learn how to play him. Long balls high crosses etc not good its got to be on the deck short passes and played to his feet to draw the foul

I think it was mentioned a six figure needed to buy him Sunderland had a bit of 600,000 turned down so 750,000 maybe correct. Wigan also interested as well.

Good thinking. When he's learned to kick straight we need to get him taking all penalties and free kicks within 25 yards in the hope 2 or 3 go in so that we can pretend he's our top scorer and main man.

Think the same. The apparent obsession with him is weird. I get Parky wants him. But he’s 25 and a lower league only career thus far. 1M sounds ok in today’s market but there is every chance he ends up being no better than Donaldson.
