Its going to depend on what exactly you want. Lots of functionality available.

We've a monitored one- pay a bit each month but get two free services per annum.

Problem is we have a dog. I believe they do motion sensors that account for such. Or better still just go on windows or doors?

Cassie, they'd give a fuck on my road, Can hear a pin drop and it's a curtain twitchers paradise :D plus an alarm going off might draw attention to the fact there's a bloke loading a van up with all my stuff.

 

We are sitting ducks here, surrounded by fields and footpaths and there's been few done over the past few weeks :(

Your dog is no problem, we had pet friendly sensors when it was installed years ago.

It was done by British Gas, although the business has been sold several times since.

Its with protect my property.com now.

Local companies can still offer monitored systems if your interested. Either way, I'd suggest you contact a couple of local ones to get an idea of what's available and what suits you.
