miamiwhite Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 Derbyshire 5 down, 5 to go. Will it finish tonight ? Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 4 to go now. Canon Slade former spinner and occasional Lancs bowler strikes. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Decent chance. Should win it tomorrow no doubt. Barring something horrific! Pop open the champers. Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 Lancs former player Paul Horton is doing his bit for us for Leicestershire v Northamptonshire. He was out for a second ball quack quack in the first innings, and got a Royal Quack in the second innings. No wonder we fucked him off Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 Party time almost as Parky takes another....last man standing. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Still don't like the league set up: 2 games to go, 14 in total. 10 teams in league? But we're up. Quote

Vaguely, heard something on the radio a bit back. Sri Lanka could top it easily by not really doing anything was the gist of it iirc. Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 16, 2019 Author Posted September 16, 2019 Great bowling from Tom Bailey today, hope he keeps it up tomorrow and we seal the league handsomely. Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 16, 2019 Author Posted September 16, 2019 Big shout too for Darren Stevens’s effort against Yorkshire, great performance for a 43 year old. Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 Shat bowling from Lancs today, but who gives a fuck as we are now officially confirmed as Champions Quote

Important though not to let it slip. Remain unbeaten all season. Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Decent enough 2nd innings knock from Lancs.....will the wicket turn in our favour on the last day ? Essex v Somerset next week for the ultimate Championship decider. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 (edited) We'd need early wickets to put the willies up em. Edited September 18, 2019 by Tonge moor green jacket Quote

Kinell, hadn't checked. Fookin marvellous result. Wasn't sure they'd pull it off. One more to go at Leicester. Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 25, 2019 Author Posted September 25, 2019 Matthew Parkinson was out, LBW today by his brother Callum ex Lancs but no relation of Michael Parkinson. He got the call up yesterday along with Mr Mahmood, great achievement for these two fine young Lancashire lads. Great interview on the link, very well done indeed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/49824779 Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 High scoring rate today, from both sides it seems. Both having a go at achieving a positive result perhaps? Not sure what the weather holds for tomorrow, but a draw still looks favourite. Quote
