Another vote for Baci here. Been tonight funnily enough. Generally pretty well priced compared to other places.

Not a fan of Casalingo. Been 3 times now and not come away satisfied once. Like someone said previously though, Duke William is a bonus (or a wander down to Rose & Crown or the Black Bull if you fancy a leg stretch)

Baci is closest restaurant to us but wife won’t go in. The only time we went in there the manager ripped a young waitress a new one in front of us. Fucking bullying cunt!

If that happened in front of us we would never return either, no need for it.

Bistecca in Adlington is nice but a fair trek for most of you.

Going out for a meal is a special treat these days, no longer a fortnightly occurance I can tell you!

Apparently we’re all out in restaurants 7 nights a week.

Not been out once this year.

Went to Roka last night at whatever area of Bolton that is - Bradshaw? Food was spot on but service a little slow.

Didnt matter to us, we weren’t going anywhere so had a full night of it

Bradshaw. Yeah it’s decent Rokka. They have another one nearer to you in Darwen as well or they certainly did have.

Tried Ewe before Christmas a few weeks after they'd opened. Food was amazing.

Service was horrific but they'd only just opened and had a load of non skilled staff in and a couple of experienced managers trying to make it work.

Waited nearly two hours between starter and main.

Will definitely return as its a nice setting and good food.

Heard mixed reviews, similar good food, poor service

Also heard from 5 different people that they've ordered beef wellington and been told they don't have any 🤷

Best I’ve had in London?

Amaya, Mayfair. But lots of other great. Went to Angela Hartnett’s place in summer.

How was that? My Mrs loves Angela Harnett.

We are spoilt, so many good restaurants and street food places. Also you can eat really cheaply and very well if you know where to go, plus so many deals available.

We were in London for a Dexys do at Royal Albert Hall, so making a full day of it, went to Cafe Murano. Really nice good and OTT service. Lots of different bits and bobs, champagne for starters, reasonably priced house red, I think we got away at around £250 or so.

Distinct lack of pubs around RAH.

Yeah, there is. There's one decent one we go in before the Oliviers each year but Kensington isn't blessed with really good pubs.
