Whites man
Shame we beat Sheffield United on the first day of the season, could have done with beating them on the last day.
DomRepWanderer
Bradford fans seem a little bit bitter, calling us a bit shit seems a bit of envy going on there, must be a Yorkshire thing
no balls
It may be a Yorkshire thing. The vitriol from fans of Yorkshire clubs to Leigh whenever we went was astounding. They really hated Lancashire. I worked between keighley and skipton years ago and have to say, they're an odd bunch.
Members bolty58
I worked in Huddersfield for a couple of years and 'odd' is an understatement. Â I did take great delight in being the only Lancastrian and the target of their (usually inept) vitriol. I became skilled at delivering cutting comebacks Looking back, this probably conditioned me well for taking on the convicts down here. Â I remain absolutely astounded at their incredible tightfistedness. They were fucking proud of it! Edited March 23, 2017 by bolty58

Site Supporter MickyD Posted March 23, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted March 23, 2017 They are going up automatically, no worries at all that they won't  For that reason I'm surprised that any of their fans give 2 fucks about us, certainly not enough to start ballooning on the internet  Two defeats for them coupled with two wins for us will possibly nullify the goal difference as well as the points. I wait with eagerness the annual Sheffield United implosion. I think it's what they'll be fearing too.
Moderators Casino Posted March 23, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2017 Not a chance that we pull back 6 points on them in 7 games  Same reason I'm confident to discount all but us and fleetwood for second place
radcliffe white
Suppose anything can happen  Before fleetwood I said not a chance we would win 4 away games????????
Moderators Casino Posted March 23, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2017 It can, but when you think sheff gave us a 3 game start, they have been very strong for 36? Games  They still have sharp and they still have 20 odd thousand helping the ref make decisions  I've written off top  But second is very much on  If we somehow turn over shrewsbury and bury do us a favour, as they could, we're looking very strong  Every chance we lose and fleetwood win, mind

leebwfc
TBF the majority I would say seem quite realistic about PP and Bolton this year. The morons seem to claim that any manager should get us up but at the same time say we are shit! very weird.  The bit that winds me up is this "with Boltons squad they should be pissing it" then claim that we would be fucked if we go up! one of the said morons claim with our superior squad of Beevers, Madine etc? really? hardly like we have kept half our premier league squad is it?  With all the shit we have had with finances, owners, owner fall outs, court cases, wages not paid I think its fucking magical that we are anywhere near promotion and have to give high praise to the KA and co and PP for turning round what was basically a bunch of demotivated losers last year. Charlton and MK are nowhere fucking near us. We have done amazingly well

We are four points clear! I agree that top is unlikely but we should be looking up.  Every chance we lose and Fleetwood win? We know the possibility is there but don't wish it on us.  Come on Cas no need to sound like our ship is sinking!
Moderators Casino Posted March 23, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2017 I've watched us 44 years  Learned not to get carried away  I've said all along I thought we could do it and not gone for any dummy spitting but I think Saturday could go either way  I think that's fair enough  In fact, on the back of what we have done recently, this could be the toughest game left  Let's see how many walking wounded present for action
Whites man
The 4 point lead is like an 8 point one in a game of rugby; the opposition needs to score twice to overtake us.

Most nervous for a single game was probably play off final Vs Preston, I was a wreck until Ricketts sealed it!
Moderators Casino Posted March 23, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2017 You know what, I think that's mine  So much on that game  Shed a tear as Gardner sealed it    And this season has its similarities  Promotion seems key to some good things happening  Maybe that's why I'm cautious
Farrelli
When Gardner scored I fell backwards into the next row, pure relief. As you say, there was so much at stake that day. Middlesbrough last game to stay up was also a nervous one but somehow Preston was worse.
Moderators Zico Posted March 24, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 24, 2017 For me the most nervous ive ever been for a game has to be boro on the last day, especially when ricketts scored  Most relieved was Preston, especially when Ricketts scored

Leyther_Matt
Didn't feel one bit nervous against Preston, somehow always knew we'd win that one. West Ham for me when Okocha scored. Remember not eating or sleeping for days leading up to that one.

It's like 20 mins after taking an E.

In the morning was sat eating breakfast and started having a seizure- tossed the dining table in the process, then got a 12 month driving ban for the privilege. Fucking football
