Even allowing for a friendly, Lukas Podolski's testimonial etc., encouraging performance that. Could have had it wrapped up by HT. Cahill stands tall and it would have been a creditable draw. Always been a bad un that lad, thank fuck we aren't stuck with him :rolleyes2:

Must admit my biggest smile of the night was on learning that Tranmere v Macclesfield drew a bigger crowd than Scotland v Canada

Quite promising that last night, both teams without key players and England played very well especially 1st half, Lallana is a magic player, the way he turns with the ball is unlike any player we have, Ali and Vardy caused them problems, really should have been an England victory, Germany were so bad int he first half they could only improve and they didn't really, just one long shot and a couple of runs from Sane, the one were he got in behind Keane was a good save from Hart.

England outplayed Germany last year, beat Portugal, dominated the Group performance wise, but fucked up vs Iceland, there's not a lot between the top European sides, still think if we have everyone fit, we should be contenders for the WC, mentality as to be right though along with abilty.
