gonzo
Our away support will drop if we are promoted.
stevieb
You seem to forget the club get the venue from the gate receipts but for food and drink they don't get the full 100% so doing that hits the vendor. I know. I just want a free pint.
EyesRight
Our away support will drop WHEN we are promoted. This. I was looking the other day...not much to go at really, especially if Wigan and Blackburn drop.
DirtySanchez
Cup games included would do for me. Suppose they can't risk not making dough on a whopper at home though. Problem with that is some of our fans would complain if all our matches were away before getting knocked out
radcliffe white
Our away support will drop if we are promoted.for sure, most folk have done championship clubs. Aways will be the hardcore then the odd big turn out now and again
Sweep
season ticket is a must next season to improve chances of getting an away match ticket. Our away support will drop if we are promoted. There's no doubt about that at all, unless we hit the ground running and carry on this form. Not only would the away support numbers drop, but a lot of the grounds are so much bigger, so they can allocate a larger amount of tickets if required anyway. gonzo
It's a shame really. I'd love to bowl up to places like Leeds and wolves with the 4K that will be at Oldham and Vale. Probably why clubs like that don't know we are massive
radcliffe white
And the issue of ticket prices, this league is very reasonable and affordable
Moderators Carlos Posted April 6, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 6, 2017 The Championship is shit for away trips, robbing cunts like Leeds, shit trips like Sheff Weds, Villa, Birmingham etc. But at least we won't be all the other clubs' big day out. Ani
£40 tickets at grounds in the championship put me off as well.
clown
Leeds can fuck off. What a shithole. Should be a tenner max. As can Sheff Utd and Wed, update your grounds you backward cunts. I'm going to miss the away trips if we do get over the line. And bring back terraces.

Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted April 6, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted April 6, 2017 Some decent boozing to be had in the championship. The 2 Sheffield's, hopefully Bradford in play offs, Leeds, Huddersfield if the stay down all decent. Another trip to Bristol City and Cardiff would be good, Wolves is decent now I know where to go off the beaten track and got mates in Brum and Sunderland so they will be good. The London games and Ipswich/Norwich will be games I look to avoid though aswell as Middlesbrough

Boro itself is shit unless you have an appreciation for chemical smog although I do have one funny abiding memory from the Ayresome Park days. Used to be some good boozers on the way over (and obviously back).

DirtySanchez
I'm also hoping Swansea stay up at Hull's expense Mainly for drinking reasons and that I doubt I could motivate myself to go to Swansea, even if it is good for drinking

bolton va va
IF we go up.....Burton could be the stand out trip, Sheffield twice & Barnsley are good, Udders is always pleasurable but their current team might be a problem, i'm one of the few that likes Brum away, & would fancy days out darn sarf at Brentford, QPR, Norwich, Cardiff & Bristol. It's not too bad if the prices are sensible.
