If we get 7 we wouldn't need to rely on goal difference. We need 6 to guarantee promotion and 5 if you assume we maintain our goal difference advantage. 3 or 4 more points should be enough in all likelihood.

Agreed. Can see Fleetwood and Bradford both winning their next two. Reckon we'll draw at Oldham so Sheff U will be on the beach for Bradford at home.

 

That will put us a point ahead of both going into Bury, which we should win at home.

 

Win at Port Vale or the others don't win that week and were up.

If we were going into these last 4 games, neck and neck, on same points as Fleetwood and Bradford, I'd still fancy us.

 

Reality is, we effectively start with 2 wins, a draw and goal difference.

Charlton also have to play the bottom three, plus Gillingham, who are currently 20th and have played a game more than Port Vale.
