7.30 even better.

I agree. Around 5000 season ticket holders didnt turn up last night.

Normally a business would be asking questions if 50% of its customers didnt attend.

The ST should be asking questions about this and not the pointless shit they go on about.

I think you have to face it that the season is over already, we're a decent side but lack the depth or real quality to push the top of the table. Planning for next season begins.

Took me 20 mins to get there over Scout Road. There's not a chance I'm tackling Moss Bank Way at half 6.

I'm not having that after going on 25 years the 8pm kick off is suddenly the biggest issue stopping folk coming to a night game.

Id say its a big issue for the kids who have school the next day.

The big issue is why so many people bought a season ticket and didnt turn up?

Ko time?

Cold?

Ifollow?

Playing shit?

Other?

Wasn't an issue for me and my brother back in the 90s, perhaps today's kids/parents are too soft.

I'd say all of the above in varying degrees affected the crowd.

Crowds normally dip mid-Nov to mid-Dec too

Maybe, but in my case, getting a child home at 11pm isn't conducive to a good day at school the next day when they have to get up at 6.45am

Would getting them home at 10:45 make that much of a difference?

That's the thing I get having your kid up late isn't ideal (mine would be useless the next day if he was out that late) but that 15 minutes makes knob all difference

What time difference does make a difference though?

Folk have to draw a line somewhere. We used to kick off at 7.30 remember.

Getting away from the place isn't particularly quick, and if you're returning to east Lancashire then time can march on.

I went yesterday. left work at 18:15 and was at the ground for 19:15. earlier kick offs would mean i would have to leave about 17:00 to get there for the same time. sitting in traffic like that is wank as is the closures of the motorways back to liverpool after the game.

These are the kind of reasons why it is tempting to finish work at 18:15 go home and watch it online with my tea.

makes perfect sense people not being happy with kids being up late. watching online means everyone can be in bed by 22:00.

Regarding a WWays' representation, not sure there'd be any point.

"Right, Mr/Mrs WWays representative, would Wways like the players to continue kneeling before kick-off?"

My point being I'd say we're a fair cross section of support. One or two have a box, some have season tickets all over the ground,  some buy as and when, others don't attend any more and others prefer Man U.

With an idea of agenda items to pre-discuss we'd be able to say as it is without the sugar-coating.

The drawing of the line is the thing. Otherwise, let's pretend we're Spanish and kick off at 10.
