embankment
Sorry for the delay but had to check on an African Grey that was destined for Bristol. Early start Sat . 6am at Pinocheo's Dads. Very nice block paved driveway . Pity about the big oil slick , think one of the Porsche's must have sprung a leak. Onto Piccadilly , witnessed a group of Bolton youth giving dogs abuse to the poor sod who had left their match tickets at home. Arrived Euston around 9.20 , quick route march to the Shakespere at Holborn. 7 large breakfasts later we headed to Fleet St. Yes only 7 of us poor turnout . Reflecting what i felt was an overall disapointing Wanderers following. Into the Tipperary Bar. Flying Goose Vintage whisky at £20 a hit was given a miss in exchange for a tasty couple of pints of Shipyard. Over the road to the Cheshire Cheese. Floor level full of tourist types so we headed for the cellar bar. There lurked a depressed Parrot , i would be in that place for days on end. Barmaid ( Austrailias finest) assured me said Parrot was destined for Bristol on the Sunday. Conversation turned to the absent Shark, hopefully he will swim back into away days soon. Onto London Bridge and finally meeting fellow Wanderers . Train and then Cowards walk to the ground. How sterile the Millwall experiance is these days. As for the match . Cracking Free Kick sums it up. No wonder Casino's bunch looked miserable. After the game , Early Dart did one accompanied by Sweden Al. The rest of us headed to The Grapes . Excellent boozer , barmaids buttons doing a sterling job but i do fear they would give way before long. Final pub had to be the Bree Louise ( before HS2 turns it into a car park) Maybe we could bury Sputniks coat under the concrete. Train home was uneventfull other than The Bats off the scale snoring. Following day due to work i headed off to Bristol ( work commitments). Once settled in i googled Sam Smiths pubs .Drove over to the Kings Arms at 9pm. YES afore mentioned feathered friend was present in the front bar. So decent result for us and 1 very happy Brizzel Parrot.

I thought you were heading into Monty Python territory with the parrot story but it needed to be a Norwegian Blue.

Boring Grey , so no beautiful plumage. And very much alive. Mortal coil in one piece.
