Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 26, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted July 26, 2017 We also had a clown who had thrown in the towel as manager with that team. Also the window isn't shut yet This. Watching him sat there arms folded grumbling to his side kick, it was clear he didn't want to be there. Matty
Promotion, bollocks to everyone. Failing that a more realistic 12-18th place finish
Traf
We lost a lot of games late on that season, fitness was a clear issue. We looked much stronger/fitter last season and that could make all the difference between holding on for a win/draw as opposed to drawing/losing
Plums
We'll be mid table.

DirtySanchez
Hull are in turmoil I've heard from one of their own fans. His old man has had a box for ten years at the ground but not this year. Sinking ship apparently. I've even considered a tenner on them To be relegated it's supposedly that bad. Yep an owner who is hated by the fans and vice versa Sold off all the best players but not really replaced them New manager is good mates with Abromovich so seemed to be relying loan deals from Chelsea, except Chelsea's best talent got loaned out weeks before Apparently closed upper tier of the main stand and would have done the same if they stayed up last season All stems from his failed name change thing
Moderators Carlos Posted July 28, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 28, 2017 Is it not deja vu for them? They'll be throwing tennis balls on the pitch next.
Duck Egg
I see Ipswich lost 6-1 at Charlton today. Makes our pre season results look quite positive that

RUREADY2ROLL
Did Amos play and, if so, was Ipswich's goal from 45 yards out? They put Amos up front and he scored 5 or the
Farrelli
According to Charlton website 'he flapped at one early on but then did everything asked of him'. Ideally he does really well there so fingers crossed. Keepers do get better with age.
enzo gambaro
Seen a stat yesterday that had him with the lowest win percentage of anyone in BWFC history who has played 50+ games for the club. Good effort.

Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted July 30, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted July 30, 2017 Changed my tune a little bit, just had an accumulator on champions of all 4 divisions. A bit predictable but gone with Citeh, Boro, Scumburn, Coventry. I sincerely hope the chicken molesters let me down and finish mid table at best

Marc505
Promoted: Sheffield Weds, Villa and (tantamount to swearing) moneybags Wolves Relegated: Burton, Millwall, Ipswich (surely McCarthy won't last another season?!) Lostock Whites
1- Middlesbrough (Promoted) 2- Sheffield Wednesday (Promoted) 3- Sunderland 4- Aston Villa 5- Fulham (Promoted) 6- Wolves 22- Burton 23- Bristol City 24- Millwall Wanderers will finish 16th I suppose, Burton, Wolves, Fulham, Villa and maybe even boro were half decent guesse. Millwall have surprised everybody this season, so did Bristol at the beginning. 16th wasn’t looking to unlikely for us after beating Villa, now it would be impossible. kent_white
I'd snatch your hand off for fourth from bottom as things stand. Suspect it will be a long, tough old season. Having said that - I have a track record of being invariably wrong about everything to do with football - so we might yet romp home in fine style. I stand by what I said in July!
