Parliament sits for less than half the year yet that fat fucking bag of porridge was on holiday for a crucial vote for “his party”.

And still his fanlads are coating their undies in semen because he’s getting a mention.

Stay where we can see you, chaps. That’s important. 😊

That is the standard of politics these days. The tories have debased themselves so much now that things like this are normal.

Fwiw, the bozo loyalists are only going to back him

The ones who think hes a detestable turd wont go anywhere near him but will be gauging the mood before committing

Granted, if he gets 100 nominations, hes got a very good chance of winning, but are there really 100 tory cranks?

Also, is he even allowed to stand while under investigation?

Yes. Yes there are. It's a fucking cult.

They put it on earlier this week because of the shit storm. It was pretty shite. Nothing of note apart from a couple of gammons declaring their yearning for Boris. Standard affair.

So we've gone from "labour would be worse" to "labour might be as bad" as reasons for voting Tory

I guess that's progress

Masterclass in political patience by the ever incredible Tories.

Truss sacrificing herself and some peripheral characters for the greater good of getting Our Boris back in the chair.

Truss has been the Patroclus to Johnson’s Achilles, and now the hero is returning from battle alongside (Ish) Zeus to retake his place.

Boris will stride back into Downing Street , holding aloft a beaten copy of the Iliad, to once again lead us into battle against the woke and the poor.

Beautiful xxx

just Read  she gets  £115,000 a year for life

Not to mention that most MP's are egotistical so her name will probably last for a long period of history as the shortest lasting PM of the UK. When the dust settles, I suspect she may take solace from knowing that she will be mentioned in political discussions and likely pub quiz questions for a very, very long time. Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me.

Now then, more seriously. We (as in the blue 'we') need a cleanskin leader to steady the ship, restore a modicum of respectability and right a few (perceived) wrongs before January 2025. Boris (sadly) too many skeletons in the cupboard - a (possibly undeserved) stained option; Sunak the backstabber - I would be shocked; Braverman seems to lack statesmanlike qualities with her profane outbursts.

For me it would have to be Mordaunt or Wallace. Hoping for Penny as I have my 'new Maggie' speech already drafted.

I was unaware until today was that the 45% tax rate for high earners being lowered to 40% would have been in line with what Labour darling Tony Bliar had in place for the entirety of his tenure. Starmer could have claimed that she was copying Labour policies! A good policy which would have keep wealth creators where we want them. In the UK.

Why ? Serious question.

Not really that difficult to answer. Loved by millions for his English eccentricity and his battling qualities when it matters (whether he truly believes in something or sees it has a conduit for political success).

It won't be him though. A shame they got rid in the first place.

We don't all swallow the guff fed to us by the UK left leaning mainstream media.
