Not in Crawley
Well just a big shout out to the NHS - burnt my hand when camping. In and out and treated in 15 mins with a letter for the referral in Bromley for Friday. Bloody brilliant. Oh and don't pour boiling water on your hands. It really hurts. Not in Crawley
Well, I'd be fine if my Mrs hadn't wanted a hot water bottle - 4 season sleeping bags, no need! Obviously I didn't say this as the lid from the kettle fell off and boiling water poured over my hand.
globaldiver
What with all this Covid review talk, I thought I’d see the current status of the review in Wales. Their Govt has refused to have one.

Ambulance was there within 30 mins and he was in the stroke unit at Salford within 40 mins of them turning up. He’s currently got plenty of nurses fussing over him which he’s happy about. Well done the NHS.

royal white
Cheers all for the wishes. Luckily it looks like it was only a minor stroke. He was sat up last night when I went to see him. His speech was still slurred but a massive improvement from when I first found him at home. Again big well done to the NHS staff.

My ex was head of internal comms at tge DCMS and their office was on cockspur st just off trafalgar Square. But the government sold it so its now the Candadian Embassy building. Basically all those massive buildings around Westminster.
