My last comment on this... There are people on here who apart from being Bolton fans I have nothing in common with & whose opinions I wheheartedly disagree with, however I would fight for their ri

Tough Shit?   Just to be clear, you're saying that if you were to lose your job and your standard of living hit the skids for a few years, you'd be ok with it because you could wave your blue passpo

Theres a difference between poor decisions and corruption

As you well know

There is of course

I’m pretty sure there would have been benefactors of the war who had links to the government at that time. but at that time information wasn’t readily accessible. Corruption in government isn’t a new thing as we all know. It’s just easier to call it out now and also easier to gain traction on class stories in some case.

I am not sure the two are really comparable or relevant.

I thought at the time Tony Blair was a very good PM but the way we went into the Iraq war was unforgivable. Yes, the whole house voted in favour but on dodgy info, which IMO was signed off at the top or he was at least aware. He did a lot of good but he will always be a cunt in my eyes.

It’s all a waste of tax payers money by corrupt cunts. Seems very comparable to me. Just the ways in which they go about it which have changed rather than the underlying motives. In my opinion

Depends how you look at it.

Time may reveal spending could have been better. At least it's been spent to try and fight a pandemic.

However, for the Scottish not to spend the money on the nhs begs more serious questions.

Just seen the news and that Bath landlord having a pop at the square Midget man Starmer, although he had a point about him being shit in opposition, he acted like a right whopper, why didn't he turn it to his advantage, sit him down and explain how he thinks the hospitality trade has been unfairly treated during the pandemic, what a nugget!

Wee Jimmy Crankie will doubtless come out in the morning with something along the lines of, “Oh, that money was for NHS spending? We didn’t realise.”

Shipping contracts to a crony without a ship. Fucking hell, if ever there was a contract given where it oughtn’t to have been, this was it.
