I’m not able to read peoples minds but in this instance, I suspect that because there hasn’t been an improvement since the busted mattress was ousted from office then with some perverse logic it would have been better to have the scruffy one still in situ.

If someone is not performing in their job then you’d expect them to be replaced by someone that could. How’s that for logic?

And if there's nobody else in the Party with the ability to do that job, it's time to call it a day.

As you said, you elect the Party not the person.

You vote the party not the person

The people and Tory party decided they've had enough of Boris

So they got rid

But the option of a replacement was given to around 200k people

The wider public had no say

And you don't necessarily vote the party

There will be a lot of folk on here who strongly disagree with that.

Hunt said recently he wanted corporation tax to drop, even to levels seen in Ireland.

Now he's expected to oversee a rise to 25%.

Whether you agree with her proposal for growth or not, this seems like a bottle job.

She started off appearing determined, then fucked off quickly before she started crying.

Markets 1-0 Truss.

And they are welcome to do that, means nothing in the grand scheme of things

I live in a staunch Tory area but do like our local MP who seems clued up and wants to do things well, so he may well get my vote next time around

I'm apolitical so the usual responses of if you're not Tory then you're labour aren't relevant

Local MP also voted to get rid of Boris

That’s not like you 🙄

Now you're missing the point. If the Leader of the Party is incapable of doing the job, and there's nobody else in the Party capable of being a better Leader, the Party is a fucking shambles.

Maybe they will have to try out a few more members then. ANYONE but Boris remember.
