A miracle just happened.

Pietr and the boys just rang to say they’ll be back Monday because they didn’t pop on this thread and realise they had nothing to worry about.

🥳🥳

Wasn't aimed at you, If you've have sex more times than 4 in the last three months, make sure you've got the statins at hand.

Edited but the point still stands. As my lad sometimes reads this I won’t answer your assumption 😊

Typically reply though.

I’m sure Pietr and the boys, if they even exist, will be well Aware they have nothing to worry about hence the majority of his fellow nationals staying here.

I’ll put it down to the employer

It doesn’t hurt. 🥰

And he was right and is a Brexit benefit as is the low unemployment rate which is partly due to EU citizens leaving the UK… more jobs across the regions including Cornwall.

Go on the footy thread and see how much of a pain the arse it will be going to Plymouth and Exeter

That's just for footy fans having a day out

Then imagine how difficult it will be for folk living near, let's say Lands End and then the nearest pub job they can get is in Newquay

Where the property prices will be astronomical

It's not easy though, even with this it is still difficult to oust the Conservatives.

No one should think Labour has it in the bag by a loooooooong way.

I'd be ignoring all the polls at the moment, as this is just an extordinary mismanagement that is the end game that started at Brexit, stumbled into Johnson, showed a lack of leadership during a pandemic which has led to this.

It's not actually about Truss, she is the end point of a very long, disappointing and ultimately disastrous period in this country.

This is what you get when you except poor leadership, incompetent governments, vested self interest groups and shadow think tanks to lead a population.

This is the brink, enjoy the view people because its going to be something to tell the grandkids about.

IF Labour  have not got it in the bag

after this month

There dont deserve to get in

if RUDY run for PM on here

he would get in

Cornwall has less unemployment at 2.5% than the UK average of 3.5% I’d think it would be  relatively easy to get a job in Cornwall given the low unemployment.

As I’ve said all along, it doesn’t matter who’s in charge, from which ever party, fuck all is going to change.

What? Ever?

Nothing will get better every again. Fucking hell. That's bad news

A few days ago, our resident Tory fan boy was saying the new "mini budget" was brilliant, and people should give it time. Now that those who put it in place have rowed back on it, as they know it's shit, I'd like to hear his thoughts on it now.

It'll be even more interesting to hear him say next week, when Truss has been ousted, how things are still brilliant under this current Government

Given Kwasi now has a bit of spare time I would not be surprised if Rudy made a reappearance on here. Have you ever seen them both in the same room ?

And I assume they look very similar.

Jeremy Hunt.

He is actually someone with a modicum of experience and <whisper it> I think he’s not actually the biggest pleb they could have gone for.

For the record, I have no issue paying a little more tax, so long as it ends up in the right places.

Replace Truss with someone decent and they’d be giving themselves the slimmest of chances to get things on the up.

She has to go though.

It's more about the way the FPTP system works rather than popularity.

My ex worked under him at the DCMS for a while, the fact that he's seen as a safe pair of hands now shows how far they have fallen as he wasn't the most respected there by any of the SCS.

The real issue they have is that the pool to draw from is so limited now that even Hunt looks decent in comparison to the rest of the horror show, and you've got a ton of disgruntled ex cabinet ministers now on the back benches sniping.

When Rees-Moog is clashing with the PM on a half decent policy he has things are rotten in the state of Denmark.

And that's fine, quite happy to pick holes in your arguements based on your personal position.

Happy Ad hominem to you.

😁 Rees-Moog - I'm now imaging him in a Rick Wakeman cape belting out the Legends of King Arthur.

Bit harsh on Rudy that, he had a far better grip on reality than Kwasi.
