This is the Government of the country ffs.

I see they’ve started their one and only election standpoint already then.

Immigrants.

They’ve let them keep piling into the country so they can say they’ll get shut of a few.

Worst. Tories. Ever.

Why dont we just stop the boats from coming in the first place?

Save all this Rwanda aggro.

That should be the target. Seriously invest in breaking and disrupting the criminal gangs. The £140 million would have been better spent this way rather than this waste of money.

How

We have the technology to land robots on meteors doing 2997280493726mph hurtling through space, that can take a sample of rock then return it to earth.

I have an app that tracks all shipping live and I can also look at the roof of my house from space.

Youre not telling me the government can’t spend the Rwanda money on utilising similar tech to notice a dinghy full of Syrian doctors setting off from Dunkirk then sending a Navy patrol boat to turn them around.

It can be done in a heartbeat.

They just don’t want to.

Funny you should say because the 'waffle' Mounts didn't really understand the other day goes through the fact that as an update to the Schengen protocol there is a 60 odd billion euro investment for all EU partners to help not only strengthen boarder control, more efficient processing and and increase of over 100 thousand staff for the EU boarder controls so irregular migrants can be dealt with more effectively and humanely.

Perhaps that should have been stuck on thw side of a bus? Mind you, not very catchy for those who get their heads turned by sloganeering.

Does that apply to pretty much the majority of crimes?

Getting a boat to England isn’t a crime.

But if you look at the lengths the Tories are going to to make it seem like one, you’d think they could do better than spending a million quid per person to send them on holiday.

Nah.

Theyre good for distracting folk away from their many other failures.

I had to laugh at that Tory in the QT audience last night

"I tore up my membership of the party as soon as Rishi Sunak became leader"

I'd worry about the sanity of anyone who did that, yet just a month earlier, were happy to keep it going when Liz bloody Truss was appointed!

At the risk of sounding like a politician…

To be clear

We could stop all the boats tomorrow. Without equivocation. If the political will to do so existed.

Protecting our borders was supposedly the main objective for many when they voted Brexit.

They have since had their pants pulled down and litres of sticky Tory jizz thrust up their chimneys as millions of brown lads have turned up on rubber boats.

It could be dealt with before Xmas. They prefer you angry about the alien invaders.

You are being played, lads.

Bollocks. Let’s be honest no matter how many 100s of millions we throw at France to help them crack down on gangs it’s not working (do they really want it to work?) and as you know the Navy can’t just turn them around.

Tories chucked another 100 million at Rwanda… this lot really are thick as fuck.

We agree on this for certain.

Christ, we could get Bolty and his mates to patrol the channel for free if we just supplied the equipment.

Seriously, if a Russian navy vessel were to stray an inch into British waters in the channel, armed to the teeth with all them big guns and sailors riddled with syphillis, they’d have half the British armed forces on them.

Yet we can’t “afford” to pay for a loads of patrol boats working round the clock to turn some dinghies back?

Do me a favour.

Number 10 actually put this out.

Really? We are so far through the looking glass now, it's bizarre. I'm not one of those that rants on about give us an election now, but is this sort of rubbish from our Leadership what we've come to expect? We really deserve better.

New minister for immigration was asked about this on the radio this morning , in the context of do we really think it’s an acceptable way of doing things from theUK Government.

no real answer to that only to say “ what it does do is highlight  Labours lack of policy on immigration “

Expect an answer like that on here , fucking pathetic from a minister.

absolute shambles they are, anyone still supporting these must be on glue.

Apparently the alternative is worse.

Somehow, despite the fact the alternative hasn’t been in government for 13 years, and there’s zero evidence to the contrary, the alternative is worse.

As you say, bag of glue for breakfast.

Hi France we will not accept any more boats and they will be turned back to your shoreline.

Hi England you cant do that.

Hi France we left the EU we can do what we like.

Hi England, dogooding lawyers here, remember that time when we managed to stop you extraditing convicted criminals back to their home country. How do you think you will go on when we try and stop you retuning “vulnerable” people in the middle of the channel?
