When the fuck did my ward change?!

I was always in Ben Wallaces gang, included Ingol and Lancaster and that all that lot.

Just typed my post code in to see if results are in and I'm in a new ward now which dragged Poulton/Hardhorn in with Thornton-Cleveleys and fired Preston and Lancaster off.

Looks like it could be Labour then afterall. Fantastic :D

Poulton Hardhorn?

Is that what the lovely Mrs Gonzo calls you?

Wankers to a man (and woman)

Nah, I have met plenty of very decent Tories both voters and people in positions of power.

I am sure there are plenty within the current lot who are basically decent folk but fuck me they are hard to find. Laura Farris for instance seems a really decent MP when I have heard her speak.

Guessing he's been out on the turps again. Possibly celebrating their Blackpool South victory.

He's going to be very pissed for a long while as they will have much to celebrate. Without any other turmoil the blues were up for slaughter this time around purely from having been in too long. The SNP disaster will deliver the reds plenty of seats and then factor in Reform fracturing the conservative vote and it may well be a red UK for a very long time unless the gobshites slide into their usual malaise.

Get out while (if) you can.

No been out cavansing yesterday you fat old cunt.

Today meetings all day and then the first show with two of the casts from Ghosts (who are super lovely)

Your post is again the same thing you repost again and again. No base in fact and just run away like you did.

And I'll keep calling you a fat old cunt, because that's what your arrogance and simple mindedness deserve you ignorant, fat old cunt.

😘

If that fat old cunt is happy to call people anti semitic, every woman who dares to have brains and express an opinion a slag, everyone on here a communist because they don't want to watercannnon everyone who disagrees with them then let's call the Australian spade a spade.

Or rather an ignorant fat old cunt. Sick of bellends like him bellowing stupidity. Finally the tide is turning and this country is waking up to the mess twats like him put us through.

So he should pipe down and go off into the outback quietly and let the rest of us try and build back this country for our children.

The fat old cunt.

Jesus. I'm just relieved it was a good night for Labour. Imagine the mood you'd be in if it had not gone according to plan! 😬

Interesting that Labour lost a seat in Bolton and the Tories two. Picked up by others. No overall control still by Labour but the largest party. 26 seats to 34 ‘others’.

I said last week that Bolton has always been a barometer to GE results. Different for locals of course but a pause for thought maybe.

As much as I want this current Tory mob out, I’m of the opinion that a complete wipeout would not be healthy for the country.

They certainly need potting, but we need enough of them to form a decent opposition because Labour aren’t exactly the saviours we all need.

I think a lot of folk who live politically in the middle feel the same and are going to hover over the ballot paper.

I genuinely hope it’s not a Tory win, but also that they don’t end up with too few MP’s.

The GE needs to be decisive with no threads of comfort for the Tories. They have damaged the country and a hammering is the only way they will get the message. I sincerely hope that is what happens and the signs are good.

😊 Well, you know I can be a right grumpy twat at times!

Perhaps I shouldnt have signed up for canvasing - its why I couldn't be a politican - as my mrs says when I habour such dreams on occassion, I'm such a misanthrope I'd end up doing a Gordon Brown at 50% of the constituents.

Aye I know, but there’s a list of massive cunts there at the moment that I can’t wait to see their face when the results are read out.

It won’t be a Tory win but I agree with everything else you say. I think you have said previously, it’s not like supporting a football team. For some it is though, both sides.

Ben Houchen holds the Tees Valley mayoralty for the Tories - it still feels odd that the North East voted blue - and the Labour Party seem to be conceding defeat in the race to West Midlands mayoralty

Those two results possibly keep Sunak from being forced into calling an election

Indeed, as i said in an earlier post, it'll mean he grimly holds on and they were pretty much nailed on, and they ran on their own ticket pretty much, but the real result is the by-election in Blackpool in terms of the GE.

I'm expecting a lot of 'Stephen Twigg/where you up for Portillo' moments come the GE.

Seems to be some mumbling that London might be closer than expected.

Might explain NIC and his PMT

The public statements from the Labour Party this week suggested they might've received internal polling suggesting it was closer than they expected

I'd still expect Khan to win, though, for the fact that Susan Hall is simply a dreadful candidate
