Apparently there are 48 sheets going up with 'he left them on the beaches' as the line. It's a 'Labour isn't Working' moment.

Ah fair enough - thought it might be unlike the campaign from Labour.

Funny line though.

Might take some forcing mate.

Fallen into the progressive trap, at a time when the country needs someone with a backbone.

Sunak needs to stop fasting- it's rotting his brain.

Spot on this. Sunak could be strapped to a plank and still manage to fold (Starmer as bad as shown with the Abacus farce).

The blues missed a massive opportunity when they could have had Mordaunt as their leader. Shows resolve even when being attacked from all sides.

I'm more interested to know what the pro Tories on here think about BJ being anti Semitic

Because that's a bat they've clung on to when trying to criticise labour recently

Trying to criticise? The bat you are on about makes up less than 1% as far as I am concerned. There's much lower hanging fruit like U turns, taxation, EU subterfuge and the scourge of hard left socialism lurking in the shadows.

BJ is yesterdays man. Who really cares now? You, apparently.

I mean, to give him his due Bolty is going down swinging, because even for a tin eared idiot it must hurt knowing you've been proven wrong on every course of action you've defended over the past decade and a half. Even in a country that isn't your home. The fact he is now backing the lightweight Mordaunt speaks volumes.

Maybe he should turn his attention to domestic politics.

Wouldn't this be Conservative heartland therefore does it matter?

Any chance of the Cons being knocked off by Reform or The Liberal Undemocrats?

Wouldn't have to be much dafter to have me convinced it was parody.

"Ball Chewing Gimp" , mildly amusing, great panel show fodder. But from a former prime minister?

Hope we don't have much further to fall.

The Liberal Democrats would be best placed to mount and challenge and this kind of thing will have some cut through, but the Tories will still almost certainly win the seat

Happening all over Europe. The population is seeing what many in the UK are either blind to or don't want to see.

Equal and opposite reaction. The warnings have been there for a few years now. This election will be really interesting. Far more interesting that the UK one horse race.

Said for years that he’s a fantastic writer. Had he stayed away lay from politics and just been more of a Jeremy Clarkson type columnist, he’d have been ok.

The penny beginning to drop, remove Schengen, get some proper border controls in place and stop welcoming all and sundry… failure to do so will result in more right wing parties gaining more votes.

It’s EU election night. Having looked at it there are slight gains for right wing parties, but that doesn’t mean the EU is falling apart.

Over reactions from people desperate to claim a benefit after <checks> 8 years.
