Members bolty58
Honeymoon period. Let's see where this is at in January 2025. TBF, already done a couple of things he'd get a tick from me over. It's when the looney side of his party and the unions unleash that things can head south very quickly.

So genuine question when was the last time the Tories did anything that would get a tick from you ? They have been such a shambles in last few years that a bloke coming in and acting normally feels like a breath of fresh air.

It was something else they talked about but did not even begin to deliver. It also was not aimed at students. So I will have you down as 'they did nothing'
bwfcfan5
Funny how people keep underestimating Starmer. Won’t win Labour leadership as he’s not left wing enough. Wins. Won’t be able to clear the party of momentum and the left wing cranks as they hold the power. Gets rid of them. Won’t be able to win an election because he’s too boring and doesn’t stand for anything. Wins. Will be the most unpopular PM ever within weeks…sees huge popularity boost. At this point it’s maybe time to reassess and whilst this is a honeymoon period he’s a man who has essentially quietly beaten the odds time and time again. I wouldn’t want to be up against him. Site Supporter Spider Posted July 22 Site Supporter Share Posted July 22 Early days but Starmer seems to be working, and doing his job without accidentally giving our money to his mates in return for fuck all. Itll never catch on, being dull and just doing the job you’re paid to do. Im 100% certain he’ll make some mistakes, but so far he just keeps upsetting the right people.
