And see BBs  link for the lies in that time. Quite the achievement. 👏🏻

Aghhh so month on month comparables Are only to be used when a different party are in power. Got ya 👍

It’s nothing to do with who is in power. If bills are more expensive next year than this that’s bad. If they are cheaper then it’s good. But comparing prices that fluctuate by month and season needs to be done on equivalent periods.

I doubt we will see bills decrease in next couple of years but then Labour never suggested we would either.

You’ve gone from being completely confident, to a decent chance of lower bills within 5 years and no decrease in bills in 2 years. All in the space of an hour 🤷🏻

So when Keir said he was going to reduce yearly bills, what he really meant is that he would reduce them after a few years…..which by your reckoning is bad.

Fuck me. Do you think an incoming Government just clicks some buttons on a computer and all their policies and pledges are instantly enacted?

Well the prime minister said he’s going to reduce bills yearly, @bwfcfan5 thinks prices won’t decrease in the next 2 years (depending on which post of his you read) but if they don’t decrease next year then that’s bad. Obviously if you read his posts you would see that.

No the two things aren’t contradictory. 2 years is a different time period to 5.

But Royal expects a new Government to fix everything in <5 months. 😡

They were repeatedly asked when during the election and their only timeframe commitment was ‘during the next parliament’.

I was talking generally about comparing one year to the next and equivalent periods. If winter bills are more or less on year to the next.

But that will be bad, as you said.

Maybe now is a good time to sell those bitcoin?

My neighbour told me yesterday that someone he knows works for the "indeed" employment service.

Apparently there has been a 30% uplift in senior, professional people looking for roles abroad.

Perhaps keep your coins in your pocket for a bit, but be ready to cash in ASAP.

The government has over 60k of them, more than enough to cover this.

I don't think many senior professionals use Indeed to find a job.

He must be making it up then.

I'd also add that the comma in my post, was to suggest two types.

Not that that matters- it came from the horses mouth.

We do know that folk with money are leaving.

Loads with little or none are arriving.
