What about all the young people now moaning who couldn’t be arsed voting , or maybe one or two off here!

your fault , never waste your vote because Facebook, instagram or whatever else is out there is more important.

Waste? Not Spider. He'd sooner put the cross in the wrong box rather than waste it.

Does make you wonder how many might have done the same? Those Brussels bureaucrats might still have been ripping you off but for the ditherers!

<sigh>
It was the wrong choice, as it turned out.

it needn’t have been, but I’m not blind to consequences, especially when we were told it would bring prosperity to British manufacturing and the exact opposite has happened.

Rather than focus on the win/loss part of it all, why not tell the class how we’re all benefitting? I’d say that’s the core element here yet seems to be the one you’re always keenest to avoid.

You say losers, but it’s become very obvious which side really lost.

I think we all lost.

You're only saying that because you've not seen the massive list of benefits that we've garnered thus far. You wait until you see that list, then you'll change your tune.

I forget who was putting it together for us now though, but I'm sure it'll be posted shortly 😏

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to be enlightened.

Was it one of those posters who spend more time abroad than in the UK who said it?

The most obvious response to the bumbling Euro project sycophants is what may yet come with patience. Still early days as we all know.

A shame a left wing government was elected recently as there is a glorious opportunity to cement a tremendous trade deal with the US which will trump (I know, I know) anything the wobbling wankers in Brussels could offer.

The EU has every chance of collapsing like a house of cards as the gravitation towards parties from the right continues to gather pace. Better off out before that day comes.

So now we’ve distilled Brexit Benefits down to a nebulous hope for the EU to collapse.

Is he talking on behalf of the people of little Lever?

No fucker's got a load of dosh there, so no point😁

On a serious note- he's suggesting yet more state spending on genetic testing for them! Additionally, what happens if it shows an enhanced risk of problems for a child- it is likely to be ignored anyway.

Bloody hell

If they ban first cousin marriage

Then why not just crack on living with and having a relationship with your cousin anyway, if that's what you want

No need to get married

Unless someone is making you

Then you might as well ban arranged marriages

It is poor that to claim there's a housing crisis and then as a defence against the increase to the population through immigration claim there's plenty of housing

One or the other

No it’s not. There is plenty of housing but not in the lower affordable part of the market. There are plenty of people with air b&bs and second homes in tourist areas which leaves minimal options for those trying to get on the ladder. Homes have to be built to redress the balance.

Aye

There's plenty of entity properties about for many reasons

Don't be fooled into thinking property is being built simply to satisfy public demand

I'd love to know what percentage of the many flats that have popped up in Manchester over the last twenty years are actually occupied

And there's no way they are being built for those in need

Well, it is

The "plenty of housing" claim was in response to the question about where people arriving into the country will live if there's a housing crisis, and they won't be living in Airbnbs or wealthy people's second homes

It was a defence mechanism she slipped into

I don’t think she did. The interviewer was conflating many issues, using debatable stats,  interrupting her and generally being a knob from the bit I saw.
