Fought a war to avoid being under the German heel and now Bliar and his limp dicked accomplices want to meekly accept their economic domination.

No surrender.

Scargill's take on Brexit. The Socialist Labour Party warned that the Labour Party would betray not only it's members but betray the democratic vote by the British people to leave the European Union.

As soon as that vote was announced on the 23 June 2016 Britain should have left the EU immediately, including; the customs union;
The single market; and above all "the free movement of labour and capital" which as seen the population in Britain rise from 59 million to 67 million. The UK should not pay a penny or Euro to the EU. If the border in Ireland is a concern the solution is a simple one return the North of Ireland back to the republic from where it was taken.

Do people still care what scargill thinks? He did more damage to the minors then Thatcher then fucked off to his mansion whilst they still pay off the debts from the strike.

He just warned us of the decimation of the mining industry in 84, all in all, he was telling the truth.

Arthur Scargill Leader "Socialist Labour Party"

What a dick

As said above by Ghana, does anybody really care what Scargill says these days? Apart from the "woe is me" ex-miners who are still bleating on about how hard done by they were 30+ years ago, it really is time they moved on, once they do then Scargill will lose any sort of platform he has.

So all those laws everybody wanted rid of are coming over to British law lock stock and barrel anyway??

It would be hilarious if wasn't so tragic.

What a waste of everybody's time this all really is.

Then they can bee looked at and smended/repealed as necessary.

If we looked at each one individually before transfer most of us would be dead before the process was concluded.

Name one :)

Fishing

We can sink French and Spanish ships that try and catch our cods and pollocks.

But, we're allowed to send our brave heroes in wooly hats into the Bay of Biscay and there's nothing Pierre or Esteban can do about it.

So we now have control of our laws.

Except now Ministers can make changes without going back through parliament.

So 'us' getting control actually means Ministers and we have reduced power of our elected parliament.

But no need to worry they won't abuse the power.

That was always going to be the case.

The one which equalises annuity rates for males and females, even though all data collected over more than a century indicates that, on average, females live longer than males and will continue to do so for another century.

remind me again, which are the laws in particular that people don't want?

It's actually not the laws, rather the judges who interpret them. Some of these would meet the standard for judicial appointments in  the UK and some would not. Some are political appointees, so no wonder their judgements are sometimes conveniently perverse.

Not sure its quite as simple as that. All this is way over my swede, but a chap on the box a few weeks ago explained it as being a necessary 'temporary' measure whilst the unique situation is addressed.

From what he was saying, I got the impression that once we'd left parliament would then be able to revisit stuff as necessary.

It just needed doing quickly with ministers making initial alterations as necessary to prepare for the leaving date.

That said its a minefield, and if it was shown that an abuse of power was indeed going on, then a weakish government may well be fucked

Chat as much shit as you want

This is a good old fashioned negotiation with one party wanting an amount of money, and the other party determined to give away as little as possible.

Like everything, it boils down to money and sex.

Which means one of the parties will end up fucked and skint.

Over to you, Mr Davies.
