Site Supporter Winchester White Posted December 3, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted December 3, 2017 The eldest has dropped his phone and the screen is buggered. Any ideas how much I should be paying for a replacement at a local repair shop? It's not just the glass BTW the display is fucked. Site Supporter MickyD Posted December 3, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted December 3, 2017 If you're in Bolton I recommend Mobi2K on Newport St. I went to Mobi4U on Tonge Moor Rd first and they told be it'd be 50/50 whether they ended up breaking my tablet irreparably. Went to Mobi2K and they told me that with the right tools, the screen couldn't get broken. Once they got into the working bits they realised it was still under warranty and advised that I should go to Samsung in Trafford Centre. R5dean
I fit these all the time and its easy to do, Get yourself a replacement screen and digitiser off ebay (about £25) and follow the instructions on iFixit.com , shouldn't take you longer than 30 mins. OR pm me. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/White-Screen-For-iPhone-6-4-7-Replacement-Digitizer-Touch-LCD-Gold-Home-Button/182832182894?hash=item2a91a5b66e:g:~20AAOSwYVFZ4ycA
