I don't think anyone would deny him a wage, some would see it as value for money if we are paying him 500k a year. As a season ticket holder, we’re getting as much as a 40-50% discount on some games, so one or two cheap games really isn’t going to make a dent in that. Dropping the prices for one game in particular of the three will hit us in the pocket with away fans for the first two and home fans for Boxing Day, but offering a good deal for coming to two or three of them might mean walk up home fans not having to choose between games and maybe be enough to shift a few half season tickets for the games that follow.
