  • I saw the truth from the beginning ffs  KA’s job was to balance the books and spin plates till investment came. He’s done that with success so far. It just can’t carry on, we don’t have a Gary Ma

Anderson out, is it 1981?

In some parts of Bolton, yes.

If they just cancel the direct debit will they not be black listed? I dont think its as simple as just cancelling the direct debit.

Think once cancelled you have 14days to make payment after legal action is taken

the irony being that Anderson has wanted out since day one, that's pretty much been his plan from the very beginning

(except IIRC for when he took the club off the market and just wanted investment)

anyway, point is, if he can get out, he will

Aye not helpful at all.

If Ken decides he's had enough and withdraws then administration is the most likely outcome. Do those people realise the implications of that?

anyone know what happens to KAs loan if he bails and the club goes into admin?

and what would've happened had the money he loaned off ED gone straight into the club, rather than ED loaning to KA, then KA loaning to the club?

The money would still be owed to ED's representatives so they could in theory have recourse to all KAs assets to get it repaid - he is personally liable. If it had gone straight in ED's representatives would have just been another creditor of BWFC in the event of Admin.

I wonder what Eddie’s Will said?

Who in their right mind would want to buy a club and put up with the naysayers on Facebook and the Supporters' Trust?

I'm not sure about that

I'm certain KA doesn't put in several millions a month

and he talked about the club making a "small profit" this year, though not sure if that took into account unpaid bills, wages and bonuses

Not paying for stuff shouldn't impact whether you are profitable or not.

Sat in Costa coffee (next) looking out at the stadium thinking that it is without doubt our most saleable asset  unlike most of the utilitarian 'new'stadiums done on the cheap (Brittania DW etc)

Despite the dross on the pitch & the mangled finances the stadium still gives us a chance to attract a decent buyer .

Surely ??

If they had boycotted every game in the last 2 months “a la St.Mirren”, with the exception of a points deduction from the FL, how many points worse off would we actually be?

What would it be used for if not BWFC? Its not an asset at all

Sorry but you're being a bit rose-tinted mate.

Investors want success, a pretty stadium isn't of interest.

Even Man City struggle to sell out and they currently occupy a different planet. The shithouse, wanky manc cunts.

It would be flattened for retail, dining, leisure purposes. I’d think it’s very valuable.

The land, yes. The stadium itself would only be worth the value of the scrap metal.

Wigan would buy it for their reserves.

Players and coaching staff still not been paid according to iles.

Whatever people's opinions of Ken, Iles, the ST, the rest of the fans, the players etc, the club is in absolute disarray.

I just hope when (please be when not if) we come out the other side of this we're not left with a generation of fans at each others throats.

I take your point but its still more of plus to a potential investor than Burnden ever was.
