Mounts Kipper Posted March 23, 2018 Author Posted March 23, 2018 I think you may be surprised, I’d as far to say it could be the biggest crowd of the season 12 k home on maximum. Quote
Lostock Whites Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 On there twitter feed it looks like they do a daily update on number of tickets remaining - maybe our club should do some interacting with fans in this way There is a BWFC official tickets page, who do provide daily updates. Sometimes a bit unresponsive though. Quote

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 23, 2018 Site Supporter Posted March 23, 2018 Fuck just checked I’ll be mid Atlantic for this one hopefully I can catch it on ifollow onboard. 9999 Bolton on then. Quote
gonzo Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 12 k home on maximum. Kids holiday, £1 a kid. We got shit loads on against Grimsby and athletico for similar reasons. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted March 23, 2018 Author Posted March 23, 2018 Kids holiday, £1 a kid. We got shit loads on against Grimsby and athletico for similar reasons. Really hope so just don’t think there’s an appetite in Bolton for night games. Quote
Lostock Whites Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 In all our poor seasons recently we have never dropped below 12k, even if we just had 12k, which there won’t there’s an extra 5k coming from Brum. So that’s 17k, with the absolute minimum number of bolton fans. So with £1 tickets, decent form, easter holidays for some, 20k very possible. To be honest though, don’t really care just want the win, but just trying to bring some light to the debate. Quote
Site Supporter MickyD Posted March 24, 2018 Site Supporter Posted March 24, 2018 You do know they include all season ticket numbers? Quote
gonzo Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 The £1 a kid is great but a bit crap if all the seats around you are sold. Quote
Sweep Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 (edited) You do know they include all season ticket numbers? Indeed. I'm sure somebody said over 1000 ST holders didn't turn up for the Villa game, ST numbers will always be included in the attendance, even if they don't turn up, as the seat is actually "sold" I do know that somebody on this site does, on occassion, get the numbers that do actually pass through the turnstiles. I'm sure that on at least one occassion, during the season that we got relegated from the Championship last time, that there were actually less than 10K home fans on in the ground Edited March 24, 2018 by Sweep Quote

Find it easier to get up for work in the morning that I did going to that. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 There would have been way more than 1,000 season ticket holders missing against Villa. Most clubs generally consider 15-20% to be the norm, especially as we’ll have a lot of the cheap kids ones missing on weeknights especially. Quote
Roger_Dubuis Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Kids holiday, £1 a kid. We got shit loads on against Grimsby and athletico for similar reasons. No we didnt, the reason we got 24,000 Bolton fans on v Grimsby, 23,000 v Chesterfield last season and a sellout v Madrid was that adult prices were £5. Reducing the adult price to £15 as it is v Birmingham doesnt have that effect. The outstanding result v Villa and £15 tickets might get home sales up around the 15,000 mark Quote
marple whites Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Bring what they want, so long as we win! Quote
Traf Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Birmingham have sold all 4,812 tickets allocated. Quote

radcliffe white Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 They'd have sold about 800 if it wasn't we have all seen them tip up with 4/500 before now But tbf they have been traveling well this season Suppose being a big supported club like them they can turn out for the big games Quote

I saw us draw 3-3 at reebok and they had about 500 on. Mind you so did we They're utterly wank at home too considering the size of their city. Quote
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted March 27, 2018 Site Supporter Posted March 27, 2018 Whatever the pricing structure/reasons, it's a cracking effort to bring almost £5k on a Tuesday night considering we've been slow in comparison to sell 2500 for Leeds on Good Friday under similar circumstances Quote
